This policy explains what personal data AllStyleWorks collects when you use this website and buy from us, why we use it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
AllStyleWorks is the controller of your personal data. You can contact us about your data at allstyleworks1@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, and what you bought.
- Account details — if you create an account: your email address, password (stored by our platform in protected form) and order history.
- Messages — what you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Newsletter — your email address, if you subscribe.
- Device data — technical data such as your browser type and pages visited, collected by our website platform to run and secure the site.
We do not see or store your full card number. Card payments are processed by our payment provider.
Why we use it
- To process and deliver your order and handle returns — necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To reply to your messages — our legitimate interest in helping customers.
- To send our newsletter — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep accounting records and meet our legal obligations.
- To keep the website working and secure — our legitimate interest.
Who we share it with
We share your data only with the service providers we need to run the store: our website and e-commerce platform (Wix), our payment provider (Stripe), and the carriers who deliver your order. They process it on our behalf and under contract. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK law.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes (normally six years), account data until you close your account, and newsletter data until you unsubscribe.
Cookies and local storage
The site only uses cookies and similar storage that are needed for it to work. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Session and security (wixSession, client-session-bind, server-session-bind, bSession, __cf_bm, ssr-caching) — set by our hosting and store platform (Wix) to keep your bag and login working, protect the site from abuse and load pages quickly. Most last for your visit; none are used for advertising.
- Stored in your browser — your favourites list, the products you viewed recently, whether you paused the site's animations, and that you've seen the cookie notice. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Because these are strictly necessary, they don't need your consent, but you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — parts of the store, like your bag, may then stop working. Our cookie policy explains each one.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, contact us. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
